Northern Berkshire Christian Church is pleased to announce that Rev.Ray Monroe will be offering at no cost Pastoral Counseling services at their facilities for all attendees .
Rev. Monroe is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and has a wealth of pastoral experience. Pastor Monroe has served congregations in Manchester N.H., Stamford CT, and is presently assisting Blackington Union Church in North Adams,MA.
Rev. Monroe was a faculty member at Northpoint Bible College (formally Zion Bible College) for 12 years. From 2004-2008 Pastor Monroe was the director of Pastoral counseling at Christian Life Center located in Bensalem, PA.
Rev.Monroe and his family were honored to serve as Assembles of God World Missionaries from 1984-1994. Their time in Africa brought them to the nations of Swaziland and the Republic of South Africa.
Pastor Ray has a desire to help people face the complexities of life using a time tested Pastoral approach towards healing.
While a professor at Northpoint Bible College Pastor Ray was chairman of the Christian Ed. department, and taught courses in Psychology, Pastoral counseling, Human Growth and Development, Counseling Children and Youth and Crisis Counseling in the Church.
Rev. Monroe is an ordained Assemblies of God minister and has two undergraduate degrees, plus a Masters degree from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.
He has been married for over 45 years, raised 3 young women and is the proud Papa of 4 wonderful grandchildren.
